Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our production team in Lockerbie.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of our production team, you’ll work on a wide variety of bespoke structural steel and fabrication projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

– Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
– Fabricating and welding structural steel components
– MIG/MAG welding to a high standard
– Measuring, marking, and preparing steelwork accurately
– Inspecting and checking completed welds and dimensions
– Using workshop equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
– Working collaboratively to ensure projects are completed on time
– Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a growing business.

Essential:

– Minimum 3 years’ MIG welding experience
– Minimum 3 years’ fabrication experience
– Ability to read engineering drawings
– Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety

Desirable:

– Experience working with structural steel
– Good teamwork and communication skills
– Positive attitude and strong work ethic
– Flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
