Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Multi-Trade Production Assistant to support our workshop and production teams. The successful candidate will work alongside our highly skilled trades people assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Assist joiners, electricians, and plumbers with day-to-day production and installation tasks.
Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for production activities.
Move, handle, and store materials safely within the workshop and site areas.
Support the assembly, fabrication, and preparation of products as directed.
Maintain workshop cleanliness, including sweeping, tidying, waste disposal, and organizing work areas.
Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are returned to designated storage locations after use.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times and help maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct basic inspections of tools and equipment and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Assist with stock control, deliveries, and inventory management when required.
Support loading and unloading of vehicles and deliveries.
Carry out general workshop and production duties as assigned by supervisors.

Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding tasks.

Desirable:
Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, construction, or trade environment.
Basic knowledge of joinery, electrical, or plumbing work.
Forklift licence or other relevant certifications.
