Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Galloway Activity Centre’s Waterfront Café for the busy summer season.

Our kitchen serves a mixture of large school groups, families and visitors, so the role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy, friendly environment.

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Duties include:

Assisting with meal preparation and simple baking
Serving customers in the café
Operating the till and handling payments
Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean
Supporting the team during busy service periods
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
The role:

Average 5 days per week
Includes weekends and some early evening shifts
Most shifts finish by around 5pm during the summer
